For many women, the idea of nudity, even in a private, guided setting, can feel unfamiliar or vulnerable. We want to acknowledge that openly. At The Bump Collective, your comfort, dignity, and sense of ease are as important as the artwork we create. Our scan consultations are designed to feel calm, respectful, and entirely led by you.
For the most accurate and beautiful sculptural results, we recommend being completely nude during your scan. This allows us to capture your form exactly as it is, uninterrupted, and true to your natural silhouette. The absence of clothing ensures that every curve, contour, and line is preserved. That said, we understand that not everyone feels comfortable being nude, and that is completely okay.
If you prefer to wear underwear during your consultation, we suggest a seamless G-string. This recommendation is purely practical and rooted in the artistry of the final piece. Our goal is to honour your body in its most authentic form, and certain garments can interfere with that process.
Full briefs or high-waisted underwear will cover the natural definition of the hips and lower body, softening or obscuring details that are essential to the sculptural form, particularly the shape of the bum, which plays an important role in the balance and proportion of the piece.
A seamless G-string minimises visual interruption while still allowing you to feel supported and comfortable.
It’s important to note that this is not about exposure, it’s about precision.

Throughout the consultation, you are guided gently and professionally. The scan itself is quick, non-invasive, and conducted with complete discretion. Ultimately, there is no “right” or “wrong” way to show up to your consultation. Whether nude or wearing minimal underwear, the most important thing is that you feel at ease. We will always prioritise your comfort while advising you on what will achieve the most refined and accurate result.
